Orchestra Brasil, a project that encourages exports organized by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), will take four companies that supply the furniture industry to Expocruz Bolivia, held from September 18-27 in Santa Cruz de La Sierra. Companies exhibiting in the collective space located in the Brazilian pavilion at the fair include Crippa, FCC, Jimo and Renner Sayerlack.
Bolivia is one of the major markets for the member companies of the Orchestra Brasil Project, which grew exports by 8.6% in 2014. Since 2010, the companies in the project had an average growth of 10% a year in exports to this market. This is the first participation of the Orchestra Brasil Project in Expocruz, held for 38 years. The last show in 2014 received 500,000 visitors and generated $192 million in business. The Brazilian official pavilion, one of the most visited during the fair, has been elected the best foreign pavilion at Expocruz four times.
The Orchestra Brazil Project has been carried out since 2006 promoting the inclusion of suppliers to the woodworking industry in the international market. To achieve this goal it promotes market research, missions to prospect markets, individual actions, Buyer's Projects, Seller's Projects and Image Projects, in addition to taking part in major world trade fairs.
Currently, Orchestra Brazil comprises 74 manufacturers of supplies, accessories, raw materials, components and technologies is the furniture industry. The last event scheduled in the project's annual calendar of international fairs is Intermob - Istanbul in October.
