The goal of Sindmóveis during a commercial mission in partnership with Apex-Brasil to Poland was to build strategies for entering the Polish market. Brazilian manufacturing companies of components for furniture, members Orchestra Brasil, a project to boost exports, participated in meetings with furniture manufacturers, importers, a university and government representatives. The diversity of contacts provided an understanding of the consumer profile, production, supply sources, and technology, innovation and design profiles. Reports from the trade mission participants suggest that the European market greatly resembles the Brazilian market and has a tendency to use green products, following a European policy.  The mission identified a demand for adhesives, resin wires, handles, edge bands and decorative papers. The scale of production and technological competence of Brazilian industries provide good business opportunities in Poland. Orchestra Brasil, a project to boost the export of Brazilian companies that supply the furniture industry, is run by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis), with the support of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (APEX Brasil). The aim of Orchestra Brasil is to promote and increase the integration of supplying companies in the international market through trade promotion actions such as the Buyer’s Project, Seller’s Project, Business Missions and the participation in fairs held in different countries.
