Positioned among the top five countries in the world that export finished furniture, Germany is a market that presents great potential for furniture supply chain suppliers seeking partnerships in the international market. Aware of this reality, in May, Orchestra Brasil – an export promotion project maintained by Sindmóveis with the support of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) – will take Brazilian companies to the German fairs Interzum and Ligna.
As the primary global event for suppliers in the furniture industry and interior design, Interzum Germany will take place from May 9 to 12 in Cologne, bringing together players from various segments to showcase their solutions to highly qualified visitors. In this scenario, Orchestra Brasil will bring a group of companies participating in the project to prospect business opportunities. Among them will be Allparts Componentes, Cruzeiro Papéis Industriais, and Gerlucc Indústria Metalúrgica e Plástica from São Paulo; Alternativa Componentes, SAS Plastic Indústria e Comércio de Plásticos, and Zen Acessórios para Móveis from Rio Grande do Sul; Brasmacol, Braspan – Indústria e Comércio de Painéis, and Joelini Indústria de Produtos Plásticos e Metais from Paraná; and Adami S/A – Madeiras from Santa Catarina.
The next stop will be at Ligna, one of the leading fairs for tools and technologies for the furniture industry, which will be held from May 15 to 19 in Hanover. Companies such as Crippa Máquinas e Equipamentos (SP), Lufati Indústria e Comércio (RS), and Projepack Máquinas para Embalagem (RS) will engage with event visitors to strengthen ties in the international market.
Ana Cristina Schneider, manager of the Orchestra Brasil project, emphasizes that participation in these two events provides visibility and competitiveness to Brazilian furniture industry suppliers. “Ligna and Interzum are renowned and credible fairs. Participating in these events not only opens doors for exports but also endorses these Brazilian supplier brands in terms of qualification, quality, and competitiveness, reinforcing their global positioning. It is also worth noting that by exhibiting at these major events, they have the opportunity to stand side by side with major international competitors, demonstrating compliance with global criteria,” she explains.
