The Brazilian furniture industry is one of the 10 largest in the world. The extensive range of its products is defined by the many features of Brazil, including origins, culture, accents, landscapes, climates, materials and colors.  Brazilian furniture represents this mix of materials and Brazilian diversity, telling a story that involves the sophistication and maturity of Brazilian design, with original and significant products, whose sensitivity derives from classical and European roots and all their cultural influence.

Suppliers to the furniture industry are the main drivers of innovation in the sector –  including manufacturers of technologies, inputs and accessories as well as design studios in the service segment. This link is essential to increase the competitiveness of the industry as a whole: it is estimated that 70% of the furniture production value in Brazil comes from inputs and intermediate consumption in the sector. Furniture parts account for 46.7% of the total Brazilian furniture production.
